“The judge identified nine aspects of An Inconvenient Truth, nine core errors, where Al Gore either misstated the IPCC or prejudicially exaggerated what they found.” John Day is the lawyer for a British parent who sued the British Department
of Education when they tried to distribute An Inconvenient Truth to schools.
Worlds Apart on Global Warming

AAAToday's New York Times continues to pretend that Global Warming is taking place in a parallel universe that has no connection to the real world.

This is how they can report - with a straight face that:

"The debate over [Global] warming dominated the opening of the summit meeting, but the Group of 8 nations also tackled the global economic recession, Middle East peace, the war in Afghanistan and development in Africa."

Would it be impudent to suggest that measures to "tackle Global Warming" such as increasing energy prices and stopping countries from industrialising might have some relevance to "the global economic recession...and development in Africa."

But not in the New York Times which has yet to acknowledge that "tackling Global Warming" will exacerbate the recession and destroy any hope of development in Africa.
