“The judge identified nine aspects of An Inconvenient Truth, nine core errors, where Al Gore either misstated the IPCC or prejudicially exaggerated what they found.” John Day is the lawyer for a British parent who sued the British Department
of Education when they tried to distribute An Inconvenient Truth to schools.

AlGoreIf you want to know why the mainstream media is in trouble - then read the article below.

It is one of those bland articles summarising a speech by Al Gore and it reads as if he is just talking about rearranging garbage collection at the local municipality.

In reality Mr Gore is talking about a complete change in society which is going to push up energy prices for those who can least afford it in the developed and developing world.

But this is the consensus so the reporter does not question or "bring truth to consensus".

Nor does she report any opposing opinions or ask why Al Gore refuses to take questions from reporters at these events.

If you want to see the divide between the media and the population just look at the comment section below the article. It is a good representation of what America thinks about raising energy prices in the middle of a recession.

You can read the article and the delightful comments here http://www.cleveland.com/nation/index.ssf/2009/05/gore_calls_on_world_business_l.html
