Al Gore is the principal prophet of doom in the global warming debate, and the 2006 documentary An Inconvenient Truth is his gospel to true believers. But Gore has misled them.
The judge based his decision on nine inaccuracies in the movie. The Gore-loving U.S. media largely ignored the story, but starting premiere night Oct. 18, Americans will hear it in Not Evil Just Wrong. To set the stage, here is a recap of Gore's claims and why they are flawed:

Newspaper manager, Boulder Colorado To me the mear fact that they were compelled to change it from "global warming" to "climate change" is just an in your face obvious red flag to a sham. Pretty obvious they found out the temperature was dropping. I like to blog and speak with others and use sarcasm and humor to convey my believe. First of all what the heck is "climate change" mean? Are they trying to get rid of those EVIL seasons??>?> I mean it's like claiming the sunrise is a bad thing and OH MY GOD those evil sunsets that follow/ LOL. I do hope they fix this crazy "climate change" thing quick though, because Winter is coming and I'm afraid it's going to get COLD |

I think my problem is Global cooling... I didn't believe global warming for a second when I heard it, because i've heard it all before. Not so long ago in the mid 70s, my brother would read OWL magazine, and National Geographic and tell me that if the world got just 4 degrees colder we would have another ice age. Pollution from cars, factories and people was the cause. So shocking that after just 40 years of cooling, after almost a hundred years of warming, that we suddenly were the cause. But that's what we were being told. I read the articles with interest, but wasn't a 'believer' at the time. Then in college I heard it again, global warming, caused by pollution from cars, factories and people.... hang on I've heard this before? and this time just about 20 years of warming, and it was us again!! well don't forget greenpeace isn't your friend their like the crooked tent preacher telling you you'll go to hell and burn, but you can stop it by sending your money TODAY! |

so what? the way i see it, "global warming" is what you call it if you believe it. "climate change" if you don't believe it. Believe / not believe. the end of the world has us all falling on of those two sides. is the government out to get us? believe, not believe. Jesus coming back? Believe, not believe. global warming? aliens? cash or credit? paper or plastic? let it all come down. i'm ready. i'm done. |

"Not an idiot" --assertion remains yet to be proven... why? assuming you are correct, why exactly, would 99% of the scientific community conspire and make up the "myth of climate change"...what would there be to gain by making this all up?" Ummm...what do they have to gain? A piece of the $89,000,000,000 climate research pie. A piece of the billions if not trillions of dollars of "cap and trade" industry. In science, dire urgency breeds funding. What is the ideal temperature of the planet anyway? |

Gore is not a comedian. When posed with a legitimate question about his movie's claims, the former VP tries to make the questioner seem a fool and plays to the crowd to get laughs--then shuts off the questioner's microphone. Unfortunately for Al, there are many such questions, and many more people to ask them, and he won't be able to dodge them too much longer---and he won't be able to shut off their microphones. Al, I hope you are reading this. This has gone far enough. |

WE HAVE IT ALL WRONG... We (the human race) are not killing the earth, if anything we are killing ourselves. But really why should we care. We all die. Get it? We ALL die! And so I will be using as much fuel as I want, air conditioning when I am too hot and yes probably pour something down my drain that I shouldn't. Sue me. And by the way, have any of the pundits taken a realistic look at the Gore families real "carbon footprint"? And I am not talking about whether or not his families mansion is greener that his neighbors, or if his limo is electric powered (which it isn't, and the guy burn more fuel in just his limo rides than most americans that have a 27mi daily commute. He's just another punchline from the "do as I tell you to do, but I am exempt", crowd of the washington elite. When I see him on a Schwinn riding his way around the hill, I'll begin to hear his voice. Till then, the guy is just white noise. Now if you will excuse me, I am going to go light my garbage burn pile with some diesel. |

How Very Strange For the past generation or so, American students have not been taught how to think for themselves. Instead, they've been slowly brainwashed to simply accept what the social engineers have crammed down students' collective throats. In the short years since those of my generation were in school, (a) corporal punishment has been all but outlawed; (b) teachers can't mark test scores in red...heaven forbid teachers actually get across to students that they're failing; (c) the number of students who can read at their own grade level or above has taken a precipitous drop; (d) grammar, writing, conversational, and comprehension skills are at an all time low; (e) the Pledge of Allegiance is fading fast from the daily school curriculum; (f) Bible Clubs have been forbidden; (g) parents of little Johnny don't believe their precious angel is actually the devil incarnate - because he's verbally abusive to teachers & other authority figures - he would never do anything wrong, blah, blah, blah (amazing how some forgot how they behaved when in school); (h) math and science scores are among the lowest they've ever been...I could go on and on... The point being that the present educational system is positively chock full of so-called educational specialists who believe education is actually a science and needs to be treated as such. There is no memorization of dates, names, places, math tables, etc. They've been replaced with a mumbo-jumbo, feel good, goulash that means nothing. Young impressionable minds eager to learn (no matter what the social engineers say) have been squeezed and brainwashed by a hurd of psycho-babble zealots who are intent upon destroying the very system that actually educates students. Unless something happens very quickly, the American education system may never find its way back to the days of the Primer and the 3 R's. |

BobPDX Walter, right you are, our youth has been taught that how they feel is more important than the truth. This is a problem. Gore, Obama, Soros continue to lie to us about how they are for the poor, unemployed and uninsured. The fact is that they could care less about these people or for that matter the polar bears. The far left has somehow and somewhat brilliantly convinced our young graduates that they are the party of the good and the saviors of the people and the planet. Curious though, if we follow the money, it looks like Gore and Soros stand to really cash in on the cap trade hoax. Soros has plans to put invest 1 billion soon. That's what this is about, making money. Of course it's also about the creation of a global community at the ruination of the U.S. but you know. so what what, who cares, right? This cap and trade hustle cannot get through in any way shape or form. Stand By... |

Don't Believe Al As a geologist, I can tell you that the earth has experienced much warmer and much cooler global temperatures than any that have ever been experienced by mankind. I'll start to worry when either the natural maximum or natural minimum is exceeded. The global warming crowd is simply using pseudoscience in an effort to make a ton of money. Just take a look at who will profit the most from cap-and-trade legislation and you will find those who are pushing the global warming scare the hardest. You don't have to be a scientist to figure that one out. Global warming is driven by political and economic interests, not good real world, real time science. It's not about a warming planet...it's about cold cash...and that's the truth! |

Canada too. Not only is the brainwashing going on in America, Canada is falling for the hype as well. I'm at a public school in Toronto and am faced with public discrace for my position on the matter and the documentary. And the unfortunate thing is it's not by students who believe they are "informed", it is by the teachers themselves. Teachers here don't even do the minimum research on this side before teaching it to the students. it is ridiculous. We were forced to watch it in class without admitting to the errors listed above. After trying to talk about them, I was kicked out. So much for learning in class, huh? |

Prague declaration The lies are much more than nine, as Lord Monckton demonstrates. And this "stop climate change" movement is a subterfuge to a global communist dictatorship. It seems craziness but in fact the communists are not normal. And they were not judged for their crimes against humanity, even worst than those perpetrated by the nazis. So, the communists are at will to continue their plans to dominate the world. Please read, sign and help to divulge the Prague declaration. |

... Isn't this info just like anything else...a little bit of truth, a little bit of misinterpretation, a little bit of exageration? I don't think Al Gore got up one day and said, "OK I'm going to put together a bunch of lies, schedule some lectures, scare the public and MAKE SOME MONEY!!" Maybe he thought, or still thinks, that we are going to be in serious trouble if we don't change the way we live. People (including me) love emotion--we love to be angry, defensive, scared, happy, sad, excited - if his documentary had been full of the maybe's/it might be that/we could be faced with, etc it would have been milktoast and totally boring. Does that mean its okay to lie to get the public's attention? No, but it might explain why Mr. Gore chose the worst case scenario's to present. |

wrongandextremelyevil How is all of this change working for you???? It is time for those with clear thought to take this country back the likes of Gore, Soros and Obama. 2010 elections will be what we can all be part of to end this evil experiment. This group has to be stopped...they must be elbowed out of the way. When I saw a random, on the street survey, done within the last 45 days that only 35% of the respondents knew who Joe Biden was and even fewer knew Nancy Pelosi made me realize that there is a real danger to our country. Truly stupid people, possibly a majority, have the ability and are given the right to vote in elections that have consequences for years to come. I too once looked at Al Gore and saw an over-weight, frumpy, joke of a man, he's not just a loon these people are dangerous. They are taking us and this country down a path that we may not be able to recover from. Please get involved now to stop this. |

The roll of an Opposition? And the hidden political agenda of global warming aka climate change. The way I understand The roles of Governing Parties and Opposition Parties is that the Governing Party promotes a political agenda and the Opposition Parties argue the negatives of the agenda. Here in Australia the Opposition parties are not arguing the negative. They are supporting an incorrect political agenda and simply arguing about different approaches to how best to tax us to implement global climate change reforms. The overwhelming evidence is that there is global change but that that change is following or repeating patterns that have been proved to have occurred previously. Now since there is overwhelming evidence to debunk global warming or as it is now called climate change why is it that opposition parties don not argue the negative? Obviously there is a hidden underlying political agenda. What is that agenda? Why can't we be told what the agenda is? If the agenda was for our benefit then there would be no reason to keep it hidden. Obviously then we would be within our rights to conclude that what ever the hidden agenda is, it certainly is not going to be of benefit to us. |

Giving Al Too Much Credit Valerie, You give Al too much credit. He knows full well that his science is bad but if he peddles it right, he will make hundreds of millions of dollars. I, too, would like to think there is nothing nefarious going on. However, if you follow the money, you find the guilt. Al is a self-serving politician and that's about all he ever will be. If he is so worried about the sea levels rising, why did he buy a huge mansion on the beach in California. It's laughable. |

"Honest" Al is no one's pal If you look closely at Al's graph, you will see that the temperature spikes PRECEDED the CO2 spikes. So to say that the CO2 caused the warming is about like saying that lung cancer causes smoking. |

Al Ain't Scared Valerie - unfortunately, this all about money...nothing more and nothing less. If Al is so concerned with rising sea levels, why did he buy a $9,000,000.00 mansion on the beach in California? Maybe for the money from his imminent insurance claim? This whole thing is just so ludicrous. How did someone making these absurd predictions ever get into a position of power and win the Nobel prize?! This really erodes the credibility of the panel that bestows what was once a prestigious award. We also need to question why Al refuses to have a scientific debate with real life scientists. If the science is settled, why is there so much real world, real time science that rejects Al's global warming, opps, I mean "Climate Change" hypothesis? And speaking of climate change...I have a background in geology and, unless I'm mistaken, the earth's climate has always, is, and will always be changing...it is the nature of the climate. If the climate is changing, then all is operating as it always has and very probably always will. |

Science This nine "errors" are themselves error. Each one tries to disprove scientific findings with unsupported reports that don't provide the source. This is not credible information. If you care about credibility, then the most comprehensive, authoritative report on Global Climate Change Impacts in the United States was released on Tuesday June 16th, 2009 should be the best current source. Most of the science in this report was approved under the Bush White House. This report presents, in plain language, the science and impacts of climate change on the United States, now and in the future. It focuses on climate change impacts on U.S. regions and various aspects of society and the economy such as energy, water, agriculture, and health. A comprehensive series of web-pages were developed that highlight the findings and major conclusions of the report and contain complete downloadable files of the report, as well as a host of additional content on climate change impacts on the U.S. It can be found at http://www.globalchange.gov/pu...us-impacts |
