“The judge identified nine aspects of An Inconvenient Truth, nine core errors, where Al Gore either misstated the IPCC or prejudicially exaggerated what they found.” John Day is the lawyer for a British parent who sued the British Department
of Education when they tried to distribute An Inconvenient Truth to schools.
The Longest Suicide Note in History

smokestacksSo the House has now passed a Cap & Trade bill. It is in reality a massive tax increase that is going to disproportionally damage the poorest in America (and the developing world if it is replicated abroad).

But this bill is much worse than a massive tax increase. Some taxes are on cigarettes or alcohol or other goods and services that certain people use and tax increases put pressure on those people and on that sector of the economy.

But this Global Warming (Cap & Trade) tax is a tax on everything everyone does. It will increase the price of food, fuel, transport and manufacturing driving jobs to low cost, high polluting centers such as India and China (and we mean genuine pollution, not CO2. Indian and Chinese power plants belch out black, black smoke unlike US plants which only emit steam).

If this bill passes in the Senate it means the American government and economy will have written the longest and perhaps most dishonest suicide note in history.
