“The judge identified nine aspects of An Inconvenient Truth, nine core errors, where Al Gore either misstated the IPCC or prejudicially exaggerated what they found.” John Day is the lawyer for a British parent who sued the British Department
of Education when they tried to distribute An Inconvenient Truth to schools.
Stop Having Babies! You're Killing The Planet!

There is a new type of birther in town, the anti-birthers, and they're not hunting down proof of Obama's citizenship.  These anti-birthers are Paul Murtaugh and Michael Schlax of Oregon State University.  And they have a startling revelation.  Having American children is killing the planet.  One baby and all the "green lifestyle" effort goes right out the window. If one simply can't resist the urge to have a child, they ask for you to please limit it to one.

...What?  Having a child is not like a cocktail party where you are limited to one serving. Murtaugh and Schlax should accept people are part of the ecosystem too.  To advocate anti-human policies for the environment is mind boggling.  Why?  To reduce a co2 emissions already naturally emitted? It's like environmentalist, Patrick Moore said, "I think it's legitimate for me to call them [environmentalists] anti-human."

Even more unsettling is Murtaugh and Schlax are not alone in their thoughts.  Obama's science adviser, John Holdren has advocated essentially the same message for population control.  A theory which has already been disproved.  And now it's echo has even crossed the pond to Britain.

Let's back away from the ridiculous and indulge in a serving of common sense.
