“The judge identified nine aspects of An Inconvenient Truth, nine core errors, where Al Gore either misstated the IPCC or prejudicially exaggerated what they found.” John Day is the lawyer for a British parent who sued the British Department
of Education when they tried to distribute An Inconvenient Truth to schools.

LoorzAlec Loorz, 15, is a "Green Teen" in who is spreading Gore's message at high schools throughout California.  He saw An Inconvenient Truth at age 12 and is now speaking to groups of 150+ about Global Warming.

In a recent interview, Loorz said, "I was so moved by that, I really wanted to do something to change things,” he said. “But I was told I was too young – I guess they thought kids can’t make an impact.”

I think it is fantastic to see Loorz taking a stand on a subject he obviously cares deeply about, but I wonder if his school ever addresses the nine significant errors in Gore's documentary, or if they would have considered showing Not Evil Just Wrong side-by-side it.

As amazing as Loorz's initiative is (seriously, I can barely speak in front of 12 people, I have no idea how he manages 150 cooly), I think it emphasizes a need for a balanced education on Global Warming.  This is why Not Evil is working with the Independent Woman's Forum (IWF) to bring the educational resources needed to teach a balanced view on Global Warming and to debunk the alarmist propaganda attached to climate science.

The media and schools are molding these young minds... I also admire the initiative of this young person, but as you say in the article, facts and balance are needed in the conversation. I go to public school outreaches in my district to add my voice to the conversation, even though my children are grown. We pay for programs to indoctrinate these children, and their education suffers because that is not the administration's priority. Getting involved is important. Thank-you for all you do to educate us.

Hello, I am currently working on a essay for my Sophmore English class on Cause and Effect scenario's and situations. I chose the topic for Global Warming as it has a large amount of discussions and debates and as we all know, a very large current topic. A few months ago near the beginning of my school year in Physical Science, I was showed The Inconvenient Truth as climate change was a unit given to us. My teacher told me that some of the material shown in the documentary is controversial and in some cases, loony. I was told to choose for myself on the topic and I'm glad I was not force fed this information, however my fellow classmates more than likely were due to their ignorance on the other side of the topic. I really wish this documentary was shown along with The Inconvenient Truth and I hope I can check it out soon, thanks!
