Public policy driven by Greenpeace-style propaganda will destroy the American economy and cost 2 million people their jobs, the Washington Examiner editorialized today.
Phelim and Ann inspired the editorial with their exclusive story about Greenpeace's practice of intentionally "emotionalizing issues" to scare government officials into implementing harsh environmental regulations. The Examiner cited that revelation in urging the Senate not to follow the House's lead by voting for a cap-and-trade system to limit carbon dioxide emissions.
"[I]n September, the Senate will have an opportunity to de-emotionalize the debate over the bill," the paper said. "And [as] Senate members do, they should take a hard look at the pronouncements of Greenpeace and other environmentalist groups, and separate the propaganda from the facts."
Phelim and Ann's story prompted another editorial in the Pittsburgh Tribune on Sunday. The paper cited Greenpeace's recent lie about melting Arctic ice as proof that "Greenpeace twists the truth to further its eco-wacko agenda." The Tribune also said the news shows the general "dubiousness of global warming alarmists' credibility and the reprehensibility of their tactics."
Add the readers of the Examiner and the Tribune to the hundreds of thousands of people who are now wiser to the hysterical ways of the environmental movement thanks to the legwork of the filmmakers behind Not Evil Just Wrong.
