“The judge identified nine aspects of An Inconvenient Truth, nine core errors, where Al Gore either misstated the IPCC or prejudicially exaggerated what they found.” John Day is the lawyer for a British parent who sued the British Department
of Education when they tried to distribute An Inconvenient Truth to schools.
CEI calls Gore out

The Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) has called Gore out, challenging him to a debate on climate change.  They've tossed in $500 plus pledge money earned if he agrees to the job.

Judging from our experience, good luck.  You'll be lucky if the SEJ doesn't form a security perimeter around the man just for looking at him funny.

Wow, 500$
Wow, 500$, that's definitely going to work. Not. I wouldn't even come out and debate with that guy for 500 bucks let alone Al Gore.

$500? That's insulting.

And I am quite fine with him being insulted. The world's pre-eminent scientist, who believes the core of the Earth is 'millions' of degrees hot.
