Build-a-BearTime and time again we are exposed to environmental alarmists fear tactics, especially those targeting impressionable children.  I find the latest attempt completely tactless.  Build-a-Bear has a video for kids to watch while visiting their stores, a video where they're told that Christmas is going to be canceled because of global warming.

Have even fear tactics gone mad?  Check out the video for yourself:

What a bunch of BS. This is the typical socialist agenda; brainwash the children. Stalin was right, the socialists will use our own tools to bury us.
Millerma - what a bunch of hogwash you wrote. Get a clue.
Atlas is Shrugging - we need a John Galt to pull us through this absyss of intelligence!

So sad
I am thankful I am an adult who can read the information on both sides of the fence and make up my own mind about issues such as this. Children, on the other hand, are more impressionable and less informed as to the different facets of the debate.

It is unfortunate our world is becoming rather lop-sidded in its tolerance of religion. Environmentalism is okay to push, but try running a Christian video in a toy store and THEN see what happens....

NEVER visit build a bear again
I will not be shopping at build-a-bear for my grandchildren. Too bad they had to turn a fun toy idea into brainwashing political propaganda. It is more than disappointing, it is scary to see what lengths they will go to influence young minds.

lol, anyone who seriously has a problem with this is a fucking cretin. I mean seriously, global warming is a very real threat to our not-so-distant future, and kids have a right to know that their parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents have destroyed the world that they get to inherit. I think that each and every one of you who has spoken out against this video has spoken out in guilt. Guilt for driving your hummers and your SUVs, guilt for haphazardly spraying aerosol cans, guilt for not recycling, guilt for using products that rape the natural world. Frankly, you all disgust me. Go choke on a double cheeseburger and crash your hummer into a Wal-Mart, you fucking ignorant fools.

Thank You Very Much,
